The Protocol to the African Charter on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities was recently adopted but yet to be ratified. This was after years of advocacy and litigation by DPOs in various African countries. This session will hosted by a Panel of lawyers from 5 African countries discussing strategic litigation and impact on disability rights, new opportunities created by the Protocol and challenges.
