Over the past months, significant changes occurred within the African Commission on Human and Peoples' Rights. Four new Commissioners were sworn in during the 28th Extra-Ordinary Session of the ACHPR on June 29th-July 1st, 2020; before then, an acting Executive Secretary was appointed.

The closing session of the ACHPR CSOs Side Events will offer an unique opportunity to virtually meet the new Commissioners and hear from them about their mandate and their reflections on the ACHPR.
